Joe Cocker "The Ultimate Collection 1968-2003", is the first Cocker CD compilation, to adequately cover his entire career since 1968 to 2003. With 30 tracks, this is a fine sampling of some of his biggest hits. This is the perfect CD for someone who is considering buying a Cocker Cd for the first time. Disc one is by far the stronger cd, with classic tracks like, "Feelin' Alright", "Unchain My Heart", "You Are So Beautiful", "The Letter", "When The Night Comes", "She Came In Through The Bathroom Window" and "Cry Me A river", just to name a few. Disc two has some nice tracks from his more recent efforts, like "Could You Be Loved", "The Simple Things", "Have A Little Faith", "Never Tear Us Apart" and a great take on Leonard Cohens "First We Take Manhatten". "With A little Help from My Friends", to "You Can Leave Your Hat On", they are all here to enjoy on 2 discs. The version that will be released in the US will be called "The Ultimate Joe Cocker", but will have only 20 tracks, but does contain his grammy nominated song with the Crusaders from 1981 "I'm So Glad I'm Standing Here Today". You can get this import, at a very reasonable price on Amazons used dealer network or e-bay. I paid $17.00 with S+H included on e-bay. His music sounds as good today, as it did back in the 1960's. Considering all that Cocker has been through during his career, and the fact he has long out distanced most of his 1960's contemporaries, makes him in my eyes a classic rock n roll treasure. This is one collection not to be missed for fans both old and new.

Rebirth is the fourth studio album (fifth overall) by American singer Jennifer Lopez,
released in 2005 via Epic Records.
The album’s working title, Call Me Jennifer, was a response to the “J.Lo” moniker
which Lopez claims gave her an unfair reputation as an over-the-top diva.
The eventual title was chosen as an attempt to start a new beginning after the “Bennifer” fall-out and the immense critical and commercial failure of the 2003 film Gigli. The music itself is standard Lopez fare, ’80s-tinged urban pop and funk combined with orchestral ballads.
Her new husband, Marc Anthony, co-wrote and co-produced one of the album’s tracks, “(Can’t Believe) This Is Me”.

I have read some of the reviews saying how it was a rip-off because all of the songs except for "U Drive Me Crazy" were on another album. Well, the non-Christmas songs are almost all remakes, and you don't feel stupid because you are listening to a Christmas CD in the middle of July. All in all, it's worth it, but here's a review of all of the songs anyways.

U Drive Me Crazy- A song with catchy lyrics that will get you dancing.

A Little More Time- Not quite the same as the US version. More strings and shorter intro.

Thinking Of You- VERY different from the US release! The La-la's are replaced by electric guitars, and the carried out vocals in the beginning are cut out to give you a full-blast finish. Different background music and JC sings first lead instead of Chris.

Everything I Own- Better background music and vocals help shape Lance's speaking solo.

I Just Wanna Be With You- Same funky beat and lyrics. closely to the end. You'll hear a naughty little whisper... wink.gif

Kiss Me At Midnight- A song about New Year's Eve that REALLY gets a party going. I know from first-hand experience.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays- Another funky, catchy tune.

All I Want Is You- A pretty, sweet, yet fun song that I can't to for hours. Nice little blues section in the background.

Under My Tree- Nice tune and vocals, but weak lyrics bring the whole review down a notch.

Love's In Our Hearts On Christmas- A beautiful ballad worth ing to. Awesome vocals and background music that take your breath away.

In Love On Christmas- Weird song that may take a while to grow on you.

The First Noel- Very pretty remake that adds nice music to the background.
